How text consent works

Get Edgerton Digital, doing business as The Salty Edge, sends text messages only after a person chooses them. Text messages are optional. They are not required to book a trip or receive a payout.

Guest rebooking reminder

A Guest enters a mobile number on a public trip booking form. Under that field is a separate checkbox. It is not checked in advance. The Guest can finish the booking without selecting it.

A Guest who selects it receives no more than one reminder after that paid and completed trip. The message names the Captain and includes a rebooking link.

Partner payout alerts

A signed-in Partner opens Earnings, enters a mobile number, and may select a separate checkbox. It is not checked in advance. A Partner can receive payouts without selecting it.

These texts share payout setup, checks, sending, problems, retries, and paid status. The number of texts depends on payout activity.
